Position: Installation Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation of warning lights, sirens, mobile radios, computers, equipment consoles, customer wiring harness, other electronic equipment.

• Drill holes, mount brackets, perform all physical tasks associated with modifying vehicles for the acceptance of emergency-related equipment

• Remove and re-install OEM vehicle interior trim

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with wiring and equipment

• Continuous learning of new products, skills and techniques

• Maintain safe, clean and orderly work area and tools

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Preferred Role Requirements:

• 12-volt systems-automotive electrical knowledge

• Emergency lighting installation experience

• Understands diodes and resisters

• Able to strip out and reinstall the interior of a vehicle without causing damage

• Understands/ operate a multimeter, power probe, test light, DMM

• Able to professionally crimp, solder, heat shrink, loom wires

• Fabrication and modification of new and existing bracketry

• Ability to effectively communicate
